My days are usually quite full. I travel a lot for work at the Knowledge Channel and even when I’m in Manila I have lots of meetings and events to attend as well. I have my favourite TSS dresses and separates in different colours that I wear for those, and loungey styles for when I get to stay home or head to the beach. I love using TSS pieces for travel as they’re really light, easy to pack and don’t crease. I’ve also had quite a few custom pieces made for formal events that are designed to flatter my figure and still be comfortable and relaxed. I have very specific preferences when it comes to swimwear. I need to be comfortable but I also don’t want to be too covered up. My body type is what’s commonly called an apple shape and I have slim legs and more weight on my upper body. In this photo I’m wearing a rash guard/jacket in net as well as a tank top and shorts. TSS made them for me after I told them which areas of my body I wanted to highlight and also to minimize. Discovered The Shape Shop as a strong recommendation from Best of the Best (BOTB) Manila community in Facebook as I need to have 2 dresses altered -- not the simple cut length lang because both were size small but too big & too long for me.Patti, the owner of TSS, was very nice and helped explain what kind of alterations will be done to make sure that the fit of the 2 dresses will be perfect for me. For reference, one is a boat-neck dress which is challenging to create and alter while the other one is a baggy, flowy dress. TSS‘s team really did a great job with altering both dresses! Pulido and indeed perfect fit. Worth every cent I paid for. :)

I’m a 3rd-year Fashion Design and Merchandising student at the De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde and I’ve just designed my first line of cycling wear for my graduation collection. I needed to find a production house with the know-how to work with technical fabrics and the experience to do it well. I found this in TSS. It was easy to explain my designs to them and monitor the production while in progress.They paid attention to all the details and asked me for clarification when necessary. It’s been a really good experience!
